MARS Pavilion Says "Farewell"

The MARS Pavilion is saying goodbye to the Los Angeles skyline! Come wish it farewell with music, drinks, and many instagrammable opportunities. The pavilion has had a significant impact on the LA cityscape, including many impromptu encounters with tourists, wanderers and curious patrons of the arts (see photos from the community below).

Designed by Ron Culver and Joseph Sarafian of Form Found Design in collaboration with Walter P. Moore engineers, this pavilion is derived from a catenary structure, using concrete in its most natural state: compression. Helix Steel Micro Rebar was used in lieu of rebar in conjunction with CTS Rapid Set Cement, both of whom have generously sponsored the exhibit.
