An influx in refugees from neighboring Artsakh has exacerbated the need for rapidly deployable housing in Armenia, leading to the design of a new planned development in Vanadzor. The Armenian Relief and Development Association (ARDA) is once again partnering with Form Found Design and Antioch Investment SRL to provide housing for those families displaced. The team is utilizing the FrameCAD Machine, which forms, punches, labels, and cuts custom, steel studs for rapid manufacturing of homes directly on the job site. Currently two homes have been framed, while three more are being prefabricated and more are on their way.
